Announcement of the MCCG Meeting – 2026, July 08
OKTE would like to inform market participants about the upcoming online Market Coupling Consultative Group (MCCG) online workshop, which will take place on 8 July 2026, from 09:00 to 12:30 CET.
The workshop will provide an update on the ongoing development of the European electricity market coupling framework within the Single Day-Ahead Coupling (SDAC) and Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) and offer insights into key initiatives and upcoming developments.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about:
- the current status and future direction of SIDC Corrective Measures,
- planned improvements to SDAC fallback mechanisms, including volume allocation during fallback scenarios,
- the latest developments regarding the SDAC Storage Orders public consultation,
- progress in the field of co-optimization, including first R&D simulation outcomes,
- ongoing work related to market IT infrastructure,
- the latest SDAC-SIDC roadmap and key projects, including developments related to Flow-Based intraday market coupling.
The workshop will also include a dedicated Q&A session, allowing participants to raise questions and discuss relevant topics with experts.
